Samsung UN65D8000 65-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Ran HDTV
I purchased this tv most 2 weeks ago to exchange a 42 in Panasonic plasma. There are a destiny of nifty things about this tv, merely the one thing that matters nigh – the pic – was a large disappointment. The intention and features of this tv are great. Internet worked really well, menus are nicely posed away and I loved the large screen. If you regard the tv directly on, the pic Samsung UN65D8000 is excellent, only if you sit the slightest bit dead marrow it washes out quickly. Blackamoor layers got terrible, screen uniformity issues gone glaring (flashlighting and erect banding) and colors (particularly flesh tones) are poor. Watching an episode of American Horror Storey was a nightmare. I exchanged this tv for the PN64D8000 plasma and am much happier. The plasma flick is not quite equally bright, just the dead kernel seeing and colors are far superior. For me, meliorate negro stratums and colour are more important than spectacularly bright whites. The plasma has a far superior picture.
